One of nine Blount shipyard supply boats built under the direction of Cliff Drown president of State Boat Corporation is now one of the USA’s smallest cruise ships. Renamed the Pacific Provider this 12 passenger cruise ship for the ultra outdoor enthusiast specializes in remote adventures in the Sea of Cortez and Alaska. Outfitted with Zodiacs, Kayaks, crab traps and more. The vessel anchors in a new location daily offering access to some of the world’s most remote wilderness sites. The boat was originally the oilfield supply boat STATE HAWK (ON 597969) built by Blount Marine in Warren RI in 1978. In 1990 she was converted into a crab catcher at the Leevac Shipyard in Jennings LA and renamed SHELIKOF. In 2007 she was converted by Stabbart Marine of Seattle WA and renamed PACIFIC PROVIDER.
