Iran’s navy says it will hold it’s annual Navy drill in the Straits of Hormuz.  The strait is located at the mouth of the Persian Gulf and is crucial to global energy supplies, with more than a third of all oil sold on earth passing through the straits.

Iranian Navy Admirial Hossey Klanzadi told Iran state TV on Thursday ” this great show of our Naval force is set to cast off this Friday and last three days and our great fleet will extend as far as the gulf of Oman and all the way to the far reaches of the Indian Ocean.”

Americas Navy will make sure these exercises do not hamper any sanctions imposed on the terrorist sponsoring state of Iran and it’s oil industry.
